I very recently upgraded to MySKY HD and find the on-line EPG (TV Guide) compared to the TiVo EPG on-line EPG recording to be inferior.

Perhaps I haven't tried hard enough, but once I have set my 'Favourites', the SKY EPG promptly forgets them on the next session.

Also, I cannot set up a repeat recording. Can I, because I cannot see a button anywhere to do it.

I actually meant the online EPG Guide at http://www.skytv.co.nz/tv-guide.aspx

I think this is accurate. You can do a remote record request from the website but you can't series link. The MySKY can only do that from its own UI. You can series link (automatically) from a green button 'record me', but that is because it is done in the box, not the headend. In this respect the design of the Tivo was more forward-looking than MySKY.
