Topic # 90312 19-Sep-2011 18:27 Send private message

strangely this afternoon my sky connectivity (mysky HDI) has stopped, at first I noticed because of the red signal light failure on the box. After checking all the cables and dish itself everything looks fine. I then did some channel surfing and noticed that some channels are working, some aren't.

For example Tv1,2,3, SkySport1 & 2 - no go.
Prime, Sports 3 & highlights - go
(just an example of what I am seeing, didn't check all channels).

Anybody else seeing anything similar?

Have you tried pulling the power cord and plugging it back in?

Thanks for the comments, must be something local. Tried restarting the box etc. Signal test shows a connection on all four tunners strength is max, quality is about mid way (not sure was it normally is).

Interestinly it seems to be the HD channels that aren't working (Excluding Sports3). The SD channels all work.

Tried ringing sky, they didn't offer much help other than to reset the box and leave it off for a period of time.

Strange it just stopped working this afternoon.
