Anyone know if this will be a UHF only service, or will it be available via Satellite and/or TelstraClear cable?

In fact their website is rather lacking in information like what you'll need, when exactly, what exactly and how much!

If they are using 3 muxes as suggested elsewhere then they'll have capacity for HD, each DVB-T2 mux runs at 35 Mbps or so. Ross ADSL2+ sync (Kbps): 11577/945, attenuation (dB): 33.0/16.9, Noise margin (dB): 11.5/11.5

Isnt it 25 dollars with a few sky channels and a recorder?? Id be up for it if I could say having living and the CI channel or a few others

It's now been approved by the commerce commission, as shown at http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/industries/6930718/Sky-shares-fall-on-ComCom-news , so I would expect it soon.

If they give an option for sports at that $25 rate then I'd be in, but I doubt this whole service will be much use given they wont want to cut into their higher priced sat offering. More channels you don't want I'd expect, but hey lets be positive at least until it kicks off....

If you check the link I posted above you'll see that I noted an unadvertised channel: I see there is also an unadvertised channel called "Front Row" - sounds sport-related to me. Interesting... In addition, I thought they said sports would be PPV via internet hookup...
