My Apologies if the answer for this is lurking somewhere - maybe I havent used the right words to find it.....
I have a mobile number - how can I check what network the number is running on.
Thanks

027 = telecom 021 = Vodafone 022 = 2degrees not sure of the rest aka skinny and teltra/clear but just because it has one of the above prefixes does not necessarily mean it is on that particular network mine is an 021 Vodafone number but I have ported it to 2degrees network ..... Your best bet would be to pull the back off and check your SIM card to find the real network

Yup, doesn't mean anything with number portability :)
If you're on Telecom\Vodafone networks you can text the number you're interested in to 300. Not sure about the other networks. And it doesn't actually tell you what network the number is on (at least not with Vodafone) it just says "this is on our network" or I guess "this is not on our network."
