Ok you guys will have to think about this one!Is there anything out there yet that enables a cell phone to act as a handset for a fixed line? It seams dumb (while we still have landlines) to have phones scattered around our homes while we carry a perfectly good phone in our pockets most of the time.

In the traditional PSTN world not really. UMA solutions failed miserably because nobody was interested in the concept.

In the VoIP world, yes.

Can be done relatively easily with VOIP.
