One oddly irritating thing I noticed was that when I got my email stating I was ready to go I accessed it though Chrome for Android. The main Drive page used flash so I was prompted with warnings stating I needed to install it.... which I can't on Chrome for android because Google saw fit to condemn it... so why do they still use it on flagship products?

If those TOS are legit and stay that way then they'll never see a single file of mine. I use Dropbox already to backup my thesis files. There's no way I'll be giving them to google if they then have rights to redistribute my work.

Heads up: Don't install Drive in Dropbox location on TWO pcs, it completely screws stuff up. In hindsight it was stupid of me...

got my drive this morning.

good thing is i signed up for 20gb for $5 for picasa storage a few years ago, and now that storage is available in gdrive, so i have 25GB on my gdrive for only USD$5 a year.

sadly you cant sign up for that anymore, and if i miss a payment ill have to signup to the massively expensive USD$2.49 a month plan
