Topic # 60118 19-Apr-2010 21:07 Send private message

In my ideal world, I have converted my DVD's to ISO format and somehow from my Tivo box I see all the DVD's ready to stream/play.

Can I do this and what do I need?
Do I need a media player?

I am running Vista Home Premium and have a NZ Telecom TiVo.

PS I know b* all, but believe me will learn.
If I can get kmttg and PyTivo working, then I have a chance.

Any hardware recommendations gratefully received.

Try this you can rip your DVD's to play on your Tivo, they say click on 1GB chuncks which is fine if you like lots of small files.

If you untick it you get a single large file to play.

Not it doesnt stream you transfer movies you want to play over to Tivo.

Or you can get Pytivo to work and tell us how u did it

I assume you mean "No it doesn't stream..."
Also when I said "If I can get kmttg and PyTivo working, then I have a chance." I actually meant that I do have them both working.

I bought a PlayonHD Mini Media Player and converted a few DVD's to ISO fomat.
I won't say the Playon has the best interface but it does work.
