I now have a second Tivo.
Both Tivo's know about each other, but both say that there no recordings on the other device.
Can anyone with 2 Tivo's help me?

I have not done it, and you don't say exactly what you want to achieve, but have you checked these TiVo help articles out?

Have you got the media key set correctly in both tivo's?, have you logged in to the tivo web site and activated the 2nd tivo, and got the service number put in?

After leaving it for a couple of hours, it is now working.
I don't know why!
I did rename the tivo's on the web site and I can now see the new names.

The free ones will likely be when you bundle with other services on a long term contract,

Well, that scared me, because I had just signed a Telecom Services Agreement.
I was told 12  months, and I checked with Telecom and it IS 12 months.

PS I have Sky and Tivo (now 2) and I make use of them both (a lot).

I have 1x TiVo with the Home Networking Package. If I buy a second Tivo, do I need to buy a second HNP or does the one key apply to both Tivos? I'm assuming I'd be able to at least transfer programs between them anyway? Thanks if anyone can help.

Oh and BTW, how easy is it to talk TC into giving me a second TiVo if I commit to 12 or 24 months longer on Total Home Broadband if I'm not in a "selected area where the door knockers go"?
