Or perhaps some other great new features have been introduced with fibre??? unmeasurable latency is quite nice - it's an empty network, no congestion.... anywhere!!!

Chrome gives me 5ms latency, but IE always always gives me 0ms on multiple machines.

Go figure.

Some applications will measure 5ms even if it is lower than 5ms.  I think that might be because everyone knows 0ms is impossible as even internal response adds 2 or 3+ms.





Sometimes what you don't get it a blessing in disguise!

^ are you talking about serialization delay? because a gigabit ethernet card can "respond" and send packets in a matter of microseconds.

if you're rounding to the nearest whole number, 0ms is very possible (over short distances)
