Hello Everyone,

Had a job roll into the helpdesk at 4:30pm Friday to urgently migrate Virtual Machines from Maxnet's cloud, apparently Maxnet's cloud has been up and down since Wednesday and has major problems today and getting worse.

Does anyone know what's going on? ETA's? I can't even get to the www.maxnet.co.nz website!

Looks like I'll be working late tonight. Going to try to snapshot the VM's to a FTP and download them on a 50MB link to another cloud.

The issues were resolved on Saturday morning.

I had a PM from insane which works at Maxnet, and it looks like they moved heaven and earth and got things resolved. Very professional.

I can't say exactly what happened, perhaps one of the Maxnet staff will tell, but they handled it very well.

Sometimes clouds are stormy...
