We had a builder/decorator in, he dragged the oven out to paint behind it, in the process he's left half a dozen holes and some scratches in the lino in the kitchen. The kitchen lino wasn't in perfect condition, but it's not bad either. The floor's dark blue pattered, and it doesn't stand out from across the room, but when you're near it and look at the floor it's pretty obvious.
Is this something I should be asking him to fix? From memory lino costs around $50/square meter, so it'd be around $450 to replace. His total bill for the work he's done will be in the region of $7-8K, including about $1500 worth of materials.
