Hi Guys,

For anyone interested, Valve released an official Steam app yesterday for IOS and Android. Its in Beta, grab it off the market and attempt login. At that point it will inform you its in beta but you are now queued to participate.

It appears you will have access to friend chat, market, community groups etc.

I got the app on Android, logged in and was prompted with a message saying that Valve have received my interest in participating it the beta, and will be inviting people in soon.

I never received such an invite, but I saw someone on twitter say that they had been able to log in without receiving a beta invite.

I have just tried logging in and it has let me!! :-)

I'm not sure if that is a consequence of attempting to log in previously, or if Valve have just opened the beta up.

Just an FYI for people wanting to try it out.
