Sorry if this is a bit off the normal topic - but can anybody recommend a cabinet maker for a simple custom entertainment unit?

Cheers

if you can't go for a drive down to hamilton and visit one of the few cabinet makers in te rapa straight then pop in to "wood furniture" in wairau park , assuming they are still there - i had a custom coffee table made to match an entertainment unit i bought from there (which came from hamilton).  they took my custom specs, sent to the guys in hamilton, quoted me a price and then dropped it a little Wink i was extremely happy with the result.

Nice Regs, thanks.

I was originally looking at a natural-wood unit like yours, but she-who-must-be-obeyed thinks we should match
the look to the plasma which will be wall-mounted above. So probably will go for a modern look - MDF, Formica, etc.

Wonder if "Wood Furniture" cater for this type of material?
