Subject says it all really.

Got a Panasonic TH-50PZ850 and am looking at pairing it with an AVR.

The Onkyo TX-SR606 ticks all the boxes and RIHD would be icing on the top. Just wondering if anyone has a Viera-Link/RIHD combo working?

For reference here is Onkyo's description of RIHD:

Select Onkyo A/V receivers offer integrated system control with certain HDMI-compatible high-definition displays, DVD and hard-disk recorders, and Blu-ray Disc players. With one remote control, you can control certain functions, including Standby, Volume and Direct Change. These receivers can seamlessly integrate with other leading brand-name devices, including those with Panasonic VIERA Link™ and Toshiba REGZA LINK™ capability, as well as selected Sharp displays.
*Compatibility depends on respective model.

Generally i have found that HDMI control features are incompatible between brands, but have not tried the Onkyo RiHD, let us know how you get on (get the guys in the retail shop to hook it up for you in store, saves getting it home and finding it doesnt work)

I have a 42pv7 and a 606. i haven't explored the feature allot. what i do know is that turning  on the telly and receiver has to be done separately using each devises dedicated remote or the two separate buttons on the onkyo remote, but turning them off requires only one power button push on either remote. perhaps i have it set up wrong ?
I can also control the TV volume and select inputs from the Onkyo remote but do not use this function.

I do however use the onkyo remote to control my 10 year old technics cd player as the input select buttons are programmable (assignable ?) but that is not through RIHD
