This is out of my league!  Have 2 devices with digital audio output that would like to feed into the Bose digital input.

What is the best way to do this? Is there a splitter avaliable or if not a switch that will do the job?

Many thanks

Can't say that I've heard of an optical splitter'
It probably wouldn't be a good idea to mix two optical signals to one input anyway.
An optical switch would be the best ay but can't say I've come across them either.
In the absence of either I guess the only solution is to unplug one and plug in other as required or look for a new amp.
If your amp has a coax input as well and one device has coax output that would work using coax instead of optical.

P.S.
Obviously Optical switches do exist.
Just found this on Trademe

Sorry if this is real obvious, but do you have an option for digital coax instead of optical? It's the same signal, just sent adifferent way.

Thanks guys - will get back to you on this one - meantime am trying to get an HDMI splitter to work on MySky - just got this unit - http://www.rapalloav.co.nz/product/1752/HDMI-Splitter/HDMI-Splitter/ but the picture is "washed out". Have gone back to the supplier to see what they have to say!
Anyone any input - have been told that not all splitters work on MySky - is that correct?
Thanks

a switch might  work, but a splitter is completely the wrong terminology - it would be a 'joiner' (though i'd hate to think what a joined signal would output if they were both active at once)

does the bose only have a single digital input?  normally a system will have more one.  what model bose do you have, for reference?
