I have just moved all my cables from my entertainment unit to my Samsung E8000 TV into a conduit in the wall but now the power lead is about 100mm short of the sockets.
Any idea if I can get a longer lead in NZ? I see some on some UK sites but I'm not interested in having yet another adapter in my surge protector.

Cheers

How long do you need it?

Or you could make your own if you could find a right angled plug somewhere (or get the UK one and replace the UK power plug with a NZ one - pretty simple),

If its the same as my Samsung TV, then the OP will be looking for a right angle figure8 connection, not the more common IEC as linked above

What model is that ?

My 3yo Sammy LCD has a right angled IEC.

Silly me, shouldnt have assumed. I have a UA40EH5306, which is a current/recent model LED, so perhaps the lower power draw means that they get away with a figure 8 connector (which I assume carries a lower current than a 10 amp IEC)

Mine has the IEC connector, and I got a longer cable from Jaycar quite inexpensively. They carry a lot of that type of stuff, and are worth checking with.
