My name is Steve.  I'm an ex IT person, having got out of the industry a few years ago due to a dislike for the politics of the the last two companies I had worked for.  Naturally, the politics of where I am now aren't any better (in fact they're probably worse) but hey, c'est la vie.

I've tried to keep up with IT developments over the years, which isn't easy, but I'm sure this site will help enormously.  I've kept tinkering with VB and VBA when time has allowed, but that doesn't really qualify me for anything.  I'm not sure I"ll be able to contribute much (if anything) but I'll try where I can...

I like playing with stuff, I'm not afraid of pulling things apart to fix them - and the leftover pieces always remind me of the fact we pay too much for our mass produced technology Wink

Anyway, I look forward to some interesting surfing, and I'll try and avoid the trolls as much as possible!

Ciao
