Hi to everyone in the Geekzone community.

Thanks for all the support and constructive criticism over the years. We appreciate that we've been rather "quiet" - but that's due to the fact that we've been busy building our network and had very little else to say during this time.

However, at 2degrees we think things are now getting very exciting as our network fast approaches launch ready status. So we're looking forward to keeping you more up-to-date about what we are up to as we move towards our August launch and answering any questions you might have.

You can follow us on twitter/2degreesmobile but be gentle as we are still learning how to best use this forum to give people what they really want to know!

For all of those uber, ultimate, master (and the alpha) geeks out there who are interested in taking a look under the hood - I'm happy to organise our geeks at 2degrees to take you on a guided tour of the 2degrees switching centres.

Let's keep in touch!

If it's in Auckland CBD, and during lunch-time, count me in on that tour.

And welcome to GZ!

Welcome aboard.

Will there be a tour of any switching facilities in Wellington, or, is this an Auckland only tour?

Hi again from 2degrees - we have switching centres in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The tiki-tour offer is available for all of these locations.

Cheers!

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their ADSL broadband network faster. Why not spend a couple of hundred to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
Geekzone special price: $150* for master splitter install, normally $200+ through your ISP. Auckland and Waikato areas.
*Travel charges may apply. Additional costs may apply for complex installs.
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, RBI Rural Broadband. Also a dealer for WorldxChange.

Can we start a list of people interested and you can take it from there?  I'm happy to start another thread for those who are interested.

And welcome to Geekzone!

Hi Nate - thanks for your offer to set up a separate thred. Perhaps we should move this to our 2degrees forum and people can let us know if they want to visit Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch? I can then touchbase with everyone who is interested to tee-up the tour.

Cheers!

Nate, once you can determine a date, I suggest you open one thread for each city and ask for people to signup there.
