The 11.6 screen was terrible it did have crisp image and great viewing angles but suffered from very bad light bleed down the entire left side and this was very bad at the bottom left corner with light bleed encroaching about 15 mm in the screen.
The USB slots whilst full USB were USB 2 and had very fiddly covers on them that also felt quite flimsy and I am sure they will break off after a short period of time.
The "plastic" casing gave the unit a very cheap feeling although it may well be more durable than it's looks and feel would indicate, it is an amazing finger print magnet.
The unit with the keyboard attached felt unbalanced and feels like it will tip easily although in actual use it did not. In tablet mode the widescreen aspect is comfortable to hold however some of the edges on the bezel were a little sharp.
Battery use was acceptable and I only needed to charge it at night.
The worst aspect of the trial was an unacceptable number of crashes experienced. Over two days the machine crashed at least 8 times with one crash requiring a "reset" in order to get the WiFi working again.
Windows 8 (full 32bit) was installed and worked well most of the time however I did notice lag at times and choppy scrolling. On occasion the charms were very difficult to stir into life.
Will I be recommending this unit? no.
