Hi there

I purchased a 10" netbook this week (an Asus 1005HA - $649 - with Windows 7 - from Playtech) - I had read that earlier EEEs came with basic neoprene cases, however this one came with nothing. As it's terribly shiny, I'm wanting to get a decent case for it. Has anyone got any recommendations for a decent but affordable case , bag or protective sleeve for netbooks of this size?

I've thought about sleeves like this: link 1 but wonder if they offer enough protection.

Also, ones like this link 2 seem ideal for protection, but considering they take up to 13" laptops, think it's bigger than needed. Any idea whether I can get anything like this but that is designed for nothing larger than a 10" netbook?

Any ideas gratefully received.

My wife has an Acer Aspire one 10" which came with a case very similar to your link 1 except more like a giant mailing envelope if you get the concept. It works great. Easy to slip in and out of. She then just throws the laptop in her handbag. The neoprene one is much better than the fake leather one that came with my Aspire One.

Cheers, Matt.
