I purchased a new laptop earlier this week on Wednesday. I started to set-it up on Thursday afternoon by downloading the MS Updates and removing some of the bloatware, so had little use of the keyboard.
On Friday afternoon I noticed that one of the keys on the keyboard was very spongey. All the other keys have some form of mechanical resistance and I can feel a faint click, but this one key feels totally different and I can't feel the faint click when depressed. Apart from the mechanical feel of the key, the key itself still produces the letter when depressed.
I called the store yesterday and they've naturally asked me to take it back for their service team to have a look at. The store reopens on the 4th of Jan.
As the problem is resonably minor should I accept a repair for the laptop which is only a few days old.
