Something I find with my current PC is that it takes 5-10 minutes to be useable, the net connection will drop for the first 20-30 minutes of daily usage, sometimes IE crashes and some folders can take a while to load up, mainly just all round lag). So pretty much anything will be an upgrade :D
I mainly use for computer for Media type stuff. This includes Youtube (uploading + watching mostly), watching Movies/Tv Shows and the occassional gaming (Although I may increase my gaming soon). I would like my new laptop to have a HDMI port (This is a must), Blu-ray player (This isn't a must have, but would be cool to have) and also the more USB ports the better but 3/4 would be enough I guess.
Screen size must be at least 15". I wouldn't want to spend anymore than $2k, but even then im hoping for something no more than $1500/$1600 (I really hate spending money, even $5 I hate lol).
If you would like to reccommend me a laptop that would be cool, but not bothered as I have been doing a tiny bit of comparing models seeing what I think is the best value for money.
I also have some questions regarding processors/Hardware in laptops. What is the better brand processor? AMD or Intel? Im pretty sure it is Intel based on my research? What is the better brand for a graphics card, Nvidia? Radeon? Is there any sort of hardware I should definitely be staying away from?
Anymore advice on selecting a new Laptop would be greatly apprecated. Thanks for all the help :)
