Hi team - this letter was sent to a small sub-set of Tivo customers, because of upgrades to a number of network components, like @stagnz said.

What doesn't change is that Telecom will still associate IP addresses and times to affected customers (to comply with our BAU legal obligations). The usage meter will still be available to the affected customers, for everyone who DIDN'T receive a letter, it's service as normal.

Just to update, my usage meter is showing 0 after some downloading overnight, so it does indeed look like it is not counting.

You lucky devil.  I know of other Tivo users, local to me, who got letters but I didn't (sob).

I haven't had the letter either, but I will double check when I get home - I may have ignored it assuming it was more advertising (since I get my statements online).
