Hi,

I saw this when in KL last week and was going to check it out but ran out of time. There seems to be several of these deals with operators around SE asia.

Still RM 32 is around $15 a day

Clint

To put this into perspective.

RM 2.49 = NZD 1

RM 32 = NZD 12.87

RM 36 = NZD 14.48

If you click on the images above, it will show you costs for the rest of the world.

15 bucks a day is 450 per month. Hardly what I would call 'cheap'

So, you travel overseas for a month? If you can stay overseas for holiday that long, $450 should be nothing for you.

I normally travel overseas not more than 2 weeks. Paying $225 a month for unlimited internet is great. I can use it for voip call/sms and my phone can be a hotspot for my laptop - no need to look for wifi (very very convenience).

for less than 450 bucks you could have hired somebody in advance to stand at the airport and give you a mifi with local sim where the charges would be considerably less.
