Currently Maxnet is handling our ADSL and own-domain email hosting.

We are planning on switching the ADSL to Telecom but keep the email and domain on Maxnet.

I assume I would need to apply for a port 25 unblock? Would you forsee other problems? Does the current Xtra email problems have any impact on what we are trying to do?

A Lot of ISP's support Port 587 (Submission Port) with SMTP Authentication instead of port 25.
