:-) it didn't need to be this long... I just wanted Jaffa to get in contact, which he did... a few old timers mentioned a few things, some where funny, some weren't (Jama your good at other things ;-) )... the worlds still turning...

either way, cheers

mike: I think it's about time for full disclosure on Geekzone.  If you work for a company in an industry you're commenting on you should be required to state so in your signature or not comment. Cheers.

1st of all Poor Jaffa!! I don’t think he did anything wrong, after all My Mobile was out if the cause for this post was about the Samsung A900 thread. I do agree employees of companies need to be careful about what they disclose, but at the same time they are just expressing their own views, all be it the same as their employers at times.

I believe employees help to provide a balanced picture to the basis of a discussion. To disclose who you work for it just a little over the top.

You really think anyone would be dumb enough to post anything sensitive ?? A lot of people in Telecom actually reads these boards and can easily track people down. I know that in the past it has happened, but don't think anyone would be that dumb. The Samsung was already out in the media - the Telecom Retail Stores have known about it for about 6 weeks now, so its not exactly any secret. Give him a break

Actually I've spoken to him a few times tonight. He got a pretty big break actually. He's cool, I'm cool, for us it's end of story...

Speculating about what the issue was here is not going to help anyone. It doesn't matter what it was, what matters is it wont happen again

Nuff said kids

Cheers

Ok, one more thing, can't resist...

"You really think anyone would be dumb enough to post anything sensitive ??"

Yes I do. Hence this whole thread. And other previous ones. One caveat to that, not dumb in every case, mistaken more often than not.
