Hey guys,

Just thought I'd let you know that as of 6am today the team have put through some changes to make Your Telecom easier to access for Smartphones.

You will no longer need to use the login page to access Your Telecom, you will display your usage and information straight away. Don't worry though this is still secure and we're authenticating at a network level instead.

Please note that this works only while on 3G (Not Wifi) and you need to ensure you're going to http://m.telecom.co.nz/yourtelecom, I know there are a few URL's floating out there for Your Telecom but the one above will always send you to the right URL.

Any queries or issues please let me know.

Cheers,
Amber Craig

Oh cool, that's excellent, nice work :)

I'd previously been using pdaportal.telecom.co.nz but found logging in and whatnot a little clunky so rarely used it, this is much better.

Cheers!

Yep that was an old URL for our previous Smartphone home page. We have m.telecom.co.nz now which links to the Yahoo!Xtra site which might be a bit faster (depending on your device). But we have m.telecom.co.nz/yourtelecom set up so that if you want to bookmark that it'll take you straight through.

Great, it works fine on Windows Phone. Also much easier to see I'm paying $30 month for 20 minutes of effectively used voice. Time to change plans.

Good job.. Like how Vodafone NZ does with iPad too.

Anyhow I'm always curious as to how does the server knows which mobile number you're on?

Very cool - most helpful thanks.  Wasn't sure it would work for my business account but it sure does.  Galaxy S.

Nice work! I have been experiencing intermittent access to your telecom ever since I got my blackberry, so far so good!

A T-stick is better doing it online at here http://www.telecom.co.nz/mbbmeter

Thanx . Seems to work Ok on my old Win6.1 mobile but only in the Opera browser, IE doesn't seem to work and I still have to click on the "Login" icon to access it but it's better than it was..

Great stuff, works well and easy to read.

So any chance of an iPhone app one day then, along the lines of the Vodafone one?!

Great work thanks.

Note: I needed to either; clear my internet cache or restart my phone for it work seamlessly.

I was still getting the login page until I did both. Sorry I am not sure which one fixed it! :(
Oh and just be careful clearing the cache, my brain wasn't engaged and I am gradually typing in all the other website username / passwords I need again...

(plug - we also do it for smart phones on m.vodafone.co.nz)

You're connecting over our network so we are able to look up your subscriber info thats why its over 3G and not WiFi

I've always just set my APN to TelecomContent and then used http://yt.telecom.co.nz for a direct link. Auto login works fine for this, obviously authing at the proxy.

I suppose i can use TelecomData or something now. Though there isn't going to be any real world difference between using TelecomData, TelecomDefault and TelecomContent for all data on my device is there?

I tested going direct to m.telecom.co.nz with my T-Stick early this morning and then clicking on Your Telecom and it worked as expected with no need to login.
