I'm changing fixed line ISP's at the moment and even though they should be able to do it without any break what should happen today - no internet and no hope of it being connected until tomorrow at the earliest.

So i've plugged in the MF668 HSPA+ stick to the 3G router and I am super impressed with the speed.

Speeds seem to range between 8.5-10.5 mbps even during peak evening times.

Yah, I finished off a 2degrees data pack with a torrent the other week and received excellent speed during peak times.

I suppose data is still a little expensive so the network is likely lightly loaded.

A speedtest does not show much,

Show what the modem is syncing to the exchange at?

You might 5km to the local exchange for all we know right now.
