IS anyone else having trouble accessing Xtra email this afternoon? It keeps on telling me there are technical difficulties, and an error number: LaunchTAE15

Massive problem today - getting worse. No different in IE or Firefox. Somehow I think the adverts are interfereing somehow as they load 1st and foremost. Taken up collecting Yahoo Mail error codes...far more interesting than stamps or weetbix cards. Did this lot in about 45 min this PM...Do I get top trumps? We’re sorry, but Yahoo! I have had trouble with Xtra email using Windows live mail, for at least a week now and I have heard from others also having similar issues. Always user name or incorrect password errors. Comes right after several attempts but what worries me is that one day, at a crucial time, it might not! mxpress

Just received a real surprise of a yahoo mail error page - getting plain weird. Strange message seeing as I am using the latest version available ! <snip> Starting on November 9, 2011, we will no longer provide assisted technical support for this version of Yahoo! Mail. We are phasing out this version of Yahoo! Mail in the near term, so our customer care agents are no longer able to answer emails regarding this version. Yep, same problem. Using Mail on our Mac. Keeps giving "incorrect username/password" error.

It's 7pm, and I still can't get in to check it. Still getting the same error. I'm signed in, it seems, but it won't actually load the email list. I even went to work and tried logging in from there - still no go.

However, receiving email through mail clients is unaffected. Our technical teams are currently working to resolve the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I've been having email issues on the web (page fails to load) for the last day and also over the last 7 days, emails are coming through well delayed. As an example, the groupy email that comes out around 8am every morning, I got at 7pm, the 1 day emails that come out at midday, I'm getting at 4pm. I've just gotten an email from a mate that was sent at 4pm but only delivered now. Plus my Outlook mail client keeps prompting for passwords not to mention issues checking on the iPhone. And yes, there are no filters, and I have trouble shooted this right through. Telecom can you advise is what is going on with the mail servers. I don't mind hassles for a day but on top of todays issues, 7 days of emails being held up is not really cool.

Just wondering - anyone else have issues with their password on the Mail application for Mac. Could be related to what's going on above, not sure. Basically Mail is refusing my password, when it's definitely correct. Had no problems until today. I'm with Telecom too.

I was told it is due to the spam filtering that yahoo use. Not much you can do about it. They say you need to add the address to the whitelist in yahoo mail, as well as fill in a huge form. I couldn't be bothered with that so no longer use it. I also found it amazing how many non spam emails found their way into the junk mail folder, and the only way to find them is to log into webmail to whitelist them. Not much good if you can't log into webmail.
