Topic # 112118 27-Nov-2012 09:25 Send private message

Thought I'd start a thread as I've seen a few mentions in the Windows 8 thread where people's SMS time stamps are out of sync.

E.g. received a text at 9am, time stamp was 10pm

MMS time stamps are correct fwiw

Seems to be similar to the Vodafone issue awhile back which seemingly came right after awhile

Someone from Telecom able to investigate?

if it's happening over 2 network then it's looking like a handset software issue

I have an HTC 8X on Telecom and have the same issue. So, not a Lumia 920 specific issue at least.

Most likely an OS issue then?

I assume you've logged a call with the Mobile Support Helpdesk on 0800 800 163?

I'll ask around and see if it's a known issue, but getting support cases logged is the best way for resolution.

But if it's happening on Telecom & Vodafone, it may be a Daylight Savings issue where the Windows Phone for whatever reason didn't know about the Daylight Savings change back in 2007.  But I would hope that wouldn't be the case....

I work for Telecom, but as always my views are my own.

I haven't logged a call yet

I was just checking to see whether it was widespread or just me (it's usually just me) that has annoying issues like this

I don't think its DST as the timestamp is about 11 hours off
