Well just as I decided to jump online to purchase a Lumia 920 mobile phone the Telecom website informs me that they're "Currently out of stock". Is there an ETA on when it might be back in stock? is there any move to provide more than just one colour?

there is a vote on their twitter account for what other colour people want.  I think the problem is more when a phone is released stock is limited globally, there is only so much available to each network.  you see this problem with apple, not sure if it has happened to samsung.

I keep seeing people reporting that the Lumia 920's have sold out across the country.. but two of our staff have walked into the local Telecom store and picked them up in the last two days.

I don't have access to the stock on hand store wide, but worth spending a few mins ringing around different stores using the Store Finder and see if any of them have stock.

I work for Telecom, but as always my views are my own.

Strange because I went into the Lower Hutt and I was told that they won't be getting any in until January and Upper Hutt was the same answer. Apparently none of the stores in Wellington even received a delivery so who actually received them if not a single store in Wellington did?

I bought mine at queensgate in lower hutt last Thursday. Manners mall, lambton quay and Johnsonville all received (a small amount of) stock but had sold out. Well, Johnsonville still had one handset and wouldn't hold it for me.

Spoke to a telecom store and they said they got single digits of stock, as did a couple of other telecom stores they talked to.

They see me trollin'

Stock is very limited - our store get's them then they're out the same day, seems to be a worldwide thing because of the high demand.
