The Telecom Router TG582N is pretty good.  And if you ring up 123 and signup to a 12 month broadband contract they normally give you one for free or at a discounted rate.

Otherwise the TP Link N one is pretty good.

Or a Draytek Vigor 120, and attach your own Wireless N router to that.

I assume you had it turned OFF.. Rather than ON..

Since normally interleaving is on and that impacts your ping times, but does improve line stability.

If you live close enough to the exchange and your wiring is good.. You can ask for it to be turned OFF.

I recommend TP-Link, specifically this model http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecification.aspx?ItemID=384106

Just bought that router today!

Its awesome :) , one thing i cant get my head around is that it wont stay on LLC whenever I set it.
Always changes back to VC-MUX ?

Any ideas ? Oh and I believe interleaving is still turned off ?

Line Stats from router:

Looks like interleaving is on from that pic.

VC-MUX is probably what you need.

Yep interleaving is on, you'll need to call the broadband helpdesk on 0800 225 598 and get them to turn it off.

Also work getting them to check you line and make sure a master filter wouldn't improve things, but your sync and attainable rate are pretty good :)

There really isn't any user configurable settings on the DSL side, as long as your modem connects then it's working. So I wouldn't try messing with the LLC/VC-MUX settings.  That's just a waste of time as the DSLAM will connect and negotiate with the modem at the best speed it can.
