I'm not sure how long this has been doable for (it wasn't possible in October) but it seems that you can now add the "$20 1GB Data Extra" to a fixed-term plan.

This is just a nice quick "FYI" post :)

Telecom also introduced some new 500MB for 7 days for $10 and 3GB for 90 days on prepaid for a limited time:

Which no one else seems to have picked up on..

Those are pretty good deals IMHO, especially the 3GB for 90 days if you're a semi-casual user and wanted a little more data over the Christmas break.

Very handy link. sadly still not available on my smartphone $100 plan




Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat New Zealand as a Solution Architect for all things Linux, Virtual and of course Cloud. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

No additional voice minutes. Just as a matter of interest how does someone on "On the One Bill" or
"XT One Bill" sign up for these as unlike prepay there is no option to purchase when you log into your account
