Testing testing...

First word should have underline and second should have a line striked through it.

While I do know that some changes have been done to the post processing bit, but we don't want to be doomed to a world of only formatting posts with italics and bolds Tongue out

Any chance we can see underline and strike through (< u > and < strike >) return Mauricio?

Hmm.

I don't see anything. Even when I quote myself.

It might be a mod level thing.

I think I've got to the bottom of this.

Realised now that the the TinyMCE RTE uses the new compliant - spans are blocked, but using works - same with strike

Darn... any possible change to the code generated through TinyMCE then?

You see what you've done? You wrote something without closing it, so your entire post - including signature, is underlined.

And you want us to trust the users?

Screwed my post now - somehow spans worked? (there was code I put just before the hyphen which had the span in it...)

Now I'm really confused.

Ah I see what you mean. Frown

Accident as it was, that's true... (closed off < u > and < strike > but leaked span code)

Just seems so... plain to use only bold and italics. Sometimes underlines do come useful.

Oh. I don't use TinyMCE... I handcoded the HTML manually.

Also note that it depends on the browser. Some browser create the underline tags, some create the span tag. This is not controlled by TinyMCE but by the browser itself...
