I just happened to come across the maps for DC-HSPA+ coverage on VF. They are dated April 2012.

I don't have a clue about the technical stuff but gather it is pretty fast.

I was surprised and vaguely amused to see that a chunk of the waterfront and CBD in Wellington, our capital, does not have coverage, but an apparently random patch of sea in the harbour does!!

See here www.vodafone.co.nz/network/pdfs/vfnz-dc-coverage-maps-apr-2012.pdf

Wow. That is over 20mbps faster than my wired connection...!!

I'm struggling to figure out why the CBD of the capital city lacks it yet a random area of sea has it..!

What's the speed difference to international sites like?

Is a DC supportive device just going to get roughly twice the speed of a non-DC device?

"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".

It's pretty much what happens when you use software to generate RF propogation maps! Things that don't look logical in the real world actually do happen!
