Hi,

Been looking at the pages on the VF website and Im yet to go have a chat to my local VF dealer....however...

Does anyone know if one can get the VF homephone wireless for 4-6weeks.

Situation: We are temp moving to a motel (quake repairs) and rather than use the motel phone for local calls (yet to check with insurance company if they would cover this cost however doubt it), I'd like to get the homephone wireless.

We have VF broadband and phone at this address and even though I would still pay for the connection... Im just going to have to use my own mobile for email etc during this time.

Would be a great idea if VF could offer short term plans for these reasons. The main reason is that my mum uses the phone daily (outgoing and incomming calls) and this keeps her occupied chatting to her friends.
I was thinking an incomming calls to our landline I'd divert to the homephone wireless unit.

Anyone done somthing similar?

Im not sure if I want to outlay $200 for just one month to get the hardware.

Edit: I see plenty of these devices on trademe, so I guess the only question now is can I use it for a month (no term contract).

If you already own the hardware this should be fine
