Hello there
I have a voip system with grandstream handytone. As I'm on a rural address plus the connections of the setup, which go through; router-network over powerline-grandstream-cordless phone(had no other choice because of the phone plugs), the noise is to great.
So I am looking at a voip cordless phone.
Is there anything available here, similar to the snom m9?
See here:http://www.snom.com/en/products/sip-dect-phones/snom-m9-sip-dect-ip-phone/
Thanks

The Snom handsets are nice and available in NZ but aren't cheap. I don't think the M9 is available here yet but the M3 is.

I've got a Siemens Gisaset which are fantastic. Unfortunately they aren't available in NZ as Atlas Gentech have never imported them (despite being the distributor for other Gigaset phones) so you'll have to get one ex Aussie. With the $ the way it is you'll probably pay around $200 for the low end model.

I use an Aastra 57iCT at home - it is a desktop phone with a cordless phone paired to it, fantastic rage but it is alittle pricey.

We've been bringing in a couple of the Gigaset phone models for the last few weeks and they have proven pretty popular already. I haven't had a chance to test one myself yet as they keep running out the door.

I've had a Gigaset 580IP for probably 6 months now. They're a great handset, the only issue was a bad firmware upgrade recently that introduced some issues. This has now been resolved.

If you have a wifi capable phone that supports SIP may be an option.  I use an E63 and it works well over the wifi for voip.  There are programs for a number of other phones as well so you may have a suitable one already.

hi dynamiccomputers
All I have to date is a uniden-2handpiece(cordless) phone and the grandstream handytone setup.
It works ok, except it is to noisy even after talking to 2talk. So most likely I have to get a 2 handpiece voip phone and a new voip, wireless router.
