While trying to track down any potential configuration issues that might be preventing incoming DTMF tones from working I found the document from 2talk.co.nz that documents the configuration settings for the SPA112 (the ATA I'm using). http://blog.2talk.co.nz/spa122.html

Some of the settings are different to those in the provisioning file, especially around the call progress tones and ring patterns.

I doubt they have anything to do with my DTMF problem, but how important are those settings to be correct? I'm not sure whether the provisioning file is correct or the document from 2talk.

Not really.  The call progress tones have nothing to do with incoming DTMF..  I just had a look thru my PAP2T  but there seems very little  about DTMF .  PBX systems I've worked on  generally use DTMF relay mode set to RFC2833 and DTMF payload set between 101 ~ 110

For anybody using my file it's wotth noting there have been some number changes since I did it, notably with the 020 range. There will be some Skinny numbers that can't be called.

When I find some time I might update this but lots of other things have a slightly higher priority at present.

@sbiddle, would you be interested in having the NZ community provide updates to the fantastic linksys provisioning profile that you have already put together?

For example, the .cfg file could be hosted on github. E.g. in a repository something like https://github.com/dteirney/voip.nz

People wanting to use it could point to the file on github, e.g. https://raw.github.com/dteirney/voip.nz/master/README.md

People in the community could send pull requests through for updates as things change in the NZ environment, which could then be pushed into the master file if accepted.

One bonus of using something like github is that you don't need to worry about registering a domain or hosting any files. I quickly setup a new repository as I already have a github account.
