I recently asked about switching away from TCL and customer retention, in a bid to keep me offered 3 things.
1. An immediate move to Warpspeed 150GB at about the same price as my current Lightspeed 90GB
2. An upgrade to 100Mbs (this hasn't happened yet)
3. 150GB to use to the end of the billing period.
This is what the online system indicates is my account status and usage
That seems to reflect the above. I certainly tried to use as much of the 150GB they gave me till the end of the billing period but one can only download so many Linux distros :-)
But my last bill shows I am still on Lightspeed 90GB and was charged $141.60(!) for going 96GB over my plan allowance.
There must a huge disconnect between their online billing system and what is used to send out paper bills.
This post is being written while I wait the targeted 45 minutes for somebody to take my call.
...whoops - they have just told me the call cannot be completed due to congestion. I guess try tomorrow.
