So my grandmother has had Telstraclear phone service for the last couple of years, and the person whose name it was in has moved out and released the phone number for her to pick up, unfortunately doing so by cancelling the service.  Apparently we need to sign up to Telstraclear for her as well in order to pick up the number (she's 76 and probably wouldn't take well to having to change the number she's had since phones first went seven digits).  The problem is Telstraclear insists that it will take until the 31st to connect her - in the meantime her medical alarm is going unmonitored which is of grave concern to us as she has very frequent health issues.

Does anyone know of any good contacts inside TC who can expedite this for us as we need this sorted ASAP and TC is just giving us the runaround.

Hi Kyanar,

Can you please email me (button in the ribbon above this post) the customer number and your contact details and I'll ask one of the team to look into this for you.

Gary

BTW, there's information on the Medical Dependency Register here: http://www.telstraclear.co.nz/customer-zone/payment-and-billing/medical-dependency-registration.cfm
