Have an unexpected situation on the newish home PC - it came with 'Office Starter 2010' and also with all the other Office apps installed, but presumably on a trial license - Access, Outlook etc

Added a license for Home & Student, but we still seem to have full access to Access and Outlook, is it worth starting to use Outlook as the main email program or is it likely to be taken away without warning soon? It's been like this for two months now..

Should still be in trial mode for Outlook, you can check that tho

in Outlook, File, Help, on the right hand side it it tells you the status

If it says product activated i guess your lucky.

Students get access and outlook. Access is needed for commerce students at UC anyway.

Outlook is a really nice program, but it has horrible IMAP support. If your using POP3 then Outlook will work fine for you

Last time I loaded an MS Office Home and Student pack it did not include Outlook.

This link shows features for each version.

Yeah, they are doing the $99 professional through their student scheme. Great way to get pro if you have a tertiary email address. They also do windows 7 upgrade discs if you wanted to get cheap windows 7 professional.
