I have just taken delivery of a Samsung ATIV Win 8 tablet / PC.
Awesome machine. I have gone to Microsoft.co.nz and tried to download Win 8 Pro and I get the message "Sorry, Win 8 isn't available for online purchase in the country / region you're in"

What the hecks up with that ??

Works fine for me testing it on a couple of different connections. Your actual link above doesn't work but when I go to the page and click download it downloads the upgrade assistant app fine.

What ISP are you using and more importantly are you using your ISP's DNS servers?

I'm with Orcon.

The link above is copied from my Chrome address bar (?)

I get the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant, it checks the apps and devices for compatabilty and when I hit next, that's when I get the message.

I'm on Orcon and  it went fine after the upgrade assistant.  I declined the install though..

Try setting the compatibility to WinXP SP 3 in the properties tab.

I had the same prob going from the consumer preview to Win8 Pro and this fixed it for me. Hope that helps.

I got it sorted by going to .... Control Panel > System > and at the top of screen it gives you the option to add features. From there you can upgrade no problems.

Thanks for the suggestions team.
