Hi all.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, or even tell me if I am in the right place...

I have been searching for a download manager or similar, to run on  android , windows or chrome, which will enable me to download multiple pdf files from a web page, including subpages/links, in one go, instead of having to manually download each one.

I have tried a couple but cant seem to find one that will work properly.

Here is the URL

http://www.aip.net.nz/NavWalk.aspx?section=CHARTS

any help would be much appreciated

cheers

Thanks for that. Will give it a try.

I have  a nexus 7, and am hoping to be able to download all the charts to it for offline use in flight

Quite likely. But there may be alternatives for the grab-all plugin. FDM is generic

hmmmm

downloaded firefox, flashgot etc

its grabbed the pdf files of some links, but only the basic ones. I dont know how to explain it, but small airports like Alexandra seem to have just the one file under the link, large airports like auckland have multiple file. flashgot didnt go deep enough to extract these files...

or did i just set up the search incorrectly

just tested this with Firefox and DownthemAll! and it worked

so try adding: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/
right click on the page and click 'Downthemall!' and it should start downloading them fine for you

thanks. Have tried that too. It does start downloading fine, but still not getting them all.

I am not sure of the correct term for it, but those links which have a "tree" leading to more files (EG Auckland) dont seem to automatically download the pdfs. It does download a file, but its just like a subject line.

I can left click and open them , then right click downloadall, and it gets them, but I was hoping to just be able to do it from the initial webpage

Is it just the way I am doing it?

You could consider an offline reading app which is able to sync a website and store it for reading later.

The only other one I can think of is Httrack

A web crawler able to search from root of a page through all URLs and cache them or find stuff you wanted.
