Topic # 97588 17-Feb-2012 08:34 Send private message

Hi folks,

I only started noticing this after I upgraded to OSX Lion. When I bring up the Open/Save File Dialog in any app it is very slow to bring up the list of files/directories. I don't have any problems browsing in Finder, only in those dialog windows. I googled around and can't find any mention of it... unless I'm using the wrong search terms...

Has anyone else noticed this?

Cheers,
D.

It happens to me when my Time Machine external hard disk is sleeping. It spins up first, then the dialog appears.

This is not the case for me - I'm on my MBP and pretty sure the HDD was already doing stuff when I brought up a dialog window.
