I vote that this thread gets re-titled "What beer did you just drink and how was it?" and gets pinned.

I'm enjoying the Coopers Extra Stout from New World at the moment, although my favourite beer was the Tuatara APA when it used American hops ... although I hear through the hop-vine that we may soon get the original American hops version back sometime soon. That would be really great as I do so miss it. Can anyone verify?

Fine by me so long as events, venues etc can still be discussed.

haha, hop rocker isn't that great, nothing to be jealous about.
(Though fine to give to non-craft beer drinkers, I suppose)

If any of you are heading through Nelson at any point, get to the Free House - craft beer in a converted church. So good.

Yep, 8 of us going Friday night. Last year a lot of the novelty beer was gone by Saturday afternoon so didnt get a chance to try them so should be good to go now.

Had a couple of Emersons London Porter Saturday, really nice smooth Porter.

Well its nearly Beer O'Clock on Friday, and, while I'll be sipping a cool Black Mac tonight, I'll mostly be looking forward to Hamilton's own mini-beervana tomorrow afternoon. It'll be magic - black magic: Emerson's, Yeastie Boys, Harrington's, Raindogs, Shunter's Yard, Epic, and so many more, including a few handpicked homebrews.
Porters and doppels and stouts oh my!

Jealous yet?
