I see this month we had a few Amazon Kindle devices ordered through our Amazon page. Also some Google Chromebooks, a couple of ASUS ultrabooks, jeans, lots of books and SSD. Oh and last month we had some ferret pet food ordered too (although I think those were for US users, can't imagine sending that to New Zealand).

I hope you folks remember to keep using that page to go to Amazon for orders ;)

Anyone know of any current coupons to get cheaper shipping. I have already used the Kiwi Bank coupon.
Have two parcels arriving shortly at the You Shop warehouse and one of them has be a little worried about the size of the box the online store used.

Thanks for that, just got the bill for my postage which as expected was rather expensive @ $79NZ, so the 10% coupon helped.

I just received a notification of my first shipment. But I hadn't provided an address nor credit card when I registered. I have done so now. When do Post tell you the actual postage amount?  And if so, when can you use this coupon or once they have your credit card, they just debit the account without your having to approve the transactions?

As richms says, you have to approve the on-shipping cost. It's like any other on-line purchase and there's a space on the page for a discount coupon number to be entered if you have one.

Once your credit card details and NZ delivery address are set up and saved in their system, handling subsequent shipments is incredibly quick and easy.

I placed my first shipment via Youshop last week. Just something to be wary of (something that I could have read about rather than assuming!) is they do not consolidate shipments. I placed one order for three products via one online store, and they shipped them in two separate parcels (assume they came from different locations). I had to pay two lots of shipping to Youshop to get them to NZ.

That doesn't augur well. I got a notification yesterday but there is nothing on the site yet. It is Sunday in the US so perhaps they will have people working on Monday?

As an aside I wonder what the operation is like over there? It could be a simple as a small office with one person who makes runs to the PO each day :-) Perhaps even a university student.
