George Carlin - You're All Dieased

Fantastic if you're suffering from Insomnia.
Or if you like listening to an old man whinge about stuff that doesn't matter. Oh or if exessive swearing makes you laugh

Not a fan then!?

I love that show. Lost count of how many times I've heard the CD.
But I'm just a dullard who laughs at penis jokes and the F word.

Just watched The Boat that Rocked on DVD...enjoyable but it's not a patch on the other flicks by thos English lot that churn them out, like the Christmas one etc...

He's pretty good.  I'm glad he can translate his "style" to the stage too.

Carlin is my #1 because he rocked the boat right up until the bitter end.

Yea, gotta give him kudos there. My mate reckons that I'd probably enjoy some of his earlier work, so I might have to check that out.

He's always ranted about absurd stuff he thinks is out of order, and rightly so, he's American!

He was arrested for saying the "seven words you can't say on television" on stage in the 70's.

I totally agree - Totally enjoyable - Not completely side splitting and maybe just lacking something to make it a great movie - But definately worth watching

Interesting, I'll have to look into that :)

Cheers!

Watched District 9 tonight - loved it - thoroughly enjoyable! I guess I didn't have any set expectations to begin with. It's 8.5/10 for me...

My wife wants to see it and she's not a sci-fi kind of person.

I've read that it's more of a Sci-fi take on the troubles of Sth Africa than a true Sci Fi epic. Either way, it's supposed to be good.

My partner and I don't share the same taste in films but she really enjoyed District 9 as well, it's very surprising, just avoid any spoilers on the story before you see it!
