ROFL. Best comment ever.

Seriously. Just watch the trailer and you will see what I mean!

Airline Disaster was made directly to video. 2.3 on IMDB. What could you expect? I always check IMDB and if it's less than 5 I don't waste time, if it's between 5 and 6.5 it might be something to watch but knowing it will be crappy...

The Sorcerer's Apprentice: Meh.

A Knight's Tale:  I'd never seen this and my fiancée was hounding me to get it out since we missed it on TV the other night.  Was actually not too bad, light hearted waffle.  Can happily never watch it again though :)

Movie: Tangled

Took the kids to see this one a few days ago and it wasnt half bad, which I have come to expect from the kids animated movies nowadays. They seem to be getting the right mix of kids and adult content into the scripts to keep us all entertained.
8/10

Movie: Yogi Bear

I just saw this with my kids and Obviously the original voice guy is dead as it sounded more like Dan Akroyd that Yogi Bear!

And get this, in this move all the humans know there is a bear in the park that wears a tie and hat and talks! and it isnt a drawcard for the park!
5/10

A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history - with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.

Just finished watching Paranormal Activity 2. Ties in nice with the first movie however like the first it was mainly boring. 6 outta 10. This one did have more scares / jumpy moments than the first.

Worst part is they are in pre-production for Paranormal Activity 3. :-(

Watched RED (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1245526/) on iTunes last night. Good action movie, like other Bruce Willis ones with some good lines thrown in. John Malkovich is hilarious when playing a crazy guy. I give it 8/10.

It's asking for a sequel...

Monsters: A pretty cool sci-fi/drama/action film about what would happen if a NASA probe crashed in Mexico having taken samples from elsewhere in the solar system, and whether those samples were of life, and whether that life grew to be gigantic octopus type "monsters" that infected a large part of Central America.

The great thing about this movie is it's subtlety.  There are very few scenes with the actual "monsters", it's mostly about the idea of them, and how they would affect the people and life in the region.  It's also a bit of a love story, though why the female protagonist fell for the male is beyond me considering he was an insufferable douche who caused ALL her problems.  Stockholm Syndrome maybe.

Anyway, it's really well done for a low-budget film, recommend to anyone that likes a good story that isn't in-your-face-over-the-top a'la Transformers :)

Death at a Funeral (the new one): Skip it, watch the original because it's delivery is way funnier and the script is identical (aside from a few contemporary black jokes).

I watched Let the Right One In last night coincidentally.  It was interesting, not fantastic, a bit hard to follow in places (regardless of the language barrier), but overall it wasn't a bad film at all.  Certainly an interesting take on the whole vampire genre.

The Kings Speech: Went to The Penthouse to see this.  Unfortunately we had lunch first and were given the wrong meals so my fiancée went without lunch....Then when we went to the cinema itself they projector broke down so what was supposed to start at 2:30 didn't start until 3pm.  Not a great start.  Everyone was pretty antsy.

Then the movie started and the next 2 hours were a blur.  Such a sublime film, everyone should see this!  Brilliantly acted, written and directed.  I was heavily in support of The Social Network for best Oscar this year but after seeing this I have serious doubts.

Office Space:  We were talking about this at the pub the other night, so I just had to see it again.  Less of a movie, more of a documentary :)  A philosophy to live your life by. :)
