Perhaps....  I'm not sure if Charlie became his character or his character took on Sheens persona????
The end result though appears to be an over inflated view of his own currency.... and just maybe to try and make that real he went on this self marketing binge.

Either way I'm picking he's on the hero-to-zero part of his career bell curve
