I was disappointed in the chicken coating, too soggy for my liking. I wanted crispy. Then again, maybe mine had been sitting round for a while... The "cheese" was vile but all in all it tasted good enough. Not sure if I'll have another one, although I didn't know you could get a zinger version until now.....

Had one yesterday.... Will not have another.
i too found it soggy, chicken was very bland... Didn't have the same flavour as the chicken pieces. Mayo was awful! All in all I felt ripped off really.
Especially as the combo doesn't come with PnG!!
1/4 pack FTW!

Wow, I tried the Zinger version today 9/10

it was larger, actually crispy and actually tasty!

Vs the original which was soggy, had disgusting cheese, was quite small, 6/10

damn it, now I'll have to go try out the zinger too!

I went for the original because it had more calories ;-)

if someone can verify that the Zinger is closer to food than the original then I might be re-tempted!
I want to like it.... but it was revolting :(

+1 it was a huge disappointment. Best thing about it is that you can get it in a combo, the drink really helped wash away the taste.

Go to Burger Fuel or Burger Wisconsin instead, it's a little bit more expensive but way higher quality imo.

burger fuel used to be good.  its barely average now. quality and flavour has gone downhill over the years

i though the kfc double down zinger was fine.  tender chicken, nice enough flavour and for me, no bun is a plus.  didnt try the original.

i used to like getting subway sandwiches as wraps instead of with buns, but when they switched tehir wraps to a gluggy low carb version i stopped buying them

Jaxson:
Ragnor: the 50 year old incorrect conventional wisdom around nutrition

I saw a graph once of obesity rates overlaid over the last 50 years or so and it was a crack up.  At the time the 'low fat' mantra was introduced it went up and has stayed up since then.  I really wish I could find it again, many of our parents are from that era.

A bowl of sugar is 99.9% fat free and that's about what's in every single 'diet' food etc that fat people force themselves to eat.  Nearly every fat free alternative is highly processed and your body/stomach etc doesn't have to work much to convert it all to energy.  Queue diabetes and obesity, as well as people eating, feeling good and then feeling hungry an hour later as well.

+1 on that - even "lite" salad dressings are 80-90% sugar + water + thickner. Stuff it - I shop for the highest percentage fat content per serve - far better value for money ! Even snack bars - I shop for the best $$ per 100gm, sugar and fat not withstanding. All those lite and fat free are not value for money, and will leave you hungry real quick.

Avocado has 14% fat - yummy ...

I guess it's like any franchise, quality varies.. our local one is good.
